Ceramic Break Sculpture Park

There is a sculpture walk and sculptures scattered around the property.

We have changing art exhibitions and openings 3-4 times a year, as well as bookings. Kerry Cannon, a bronze sculptor shows visitors his studio when he is at the park.

Centenary Cottage Museum

Centenary Cottage Museum

General Sir Harry Chauvel Gallery Australia's first general was born at Tabulam Station. His involvement of the Light Horse and his distinguished army career is highlighted in the gallery. The gallery was built from a bequest left by his equally well known artist sister, Lillian Chauvel. Lillian was one of Australia's first internationally recognised women artists. Many of her paintings are also on display in the gallery.

Petrie Cottage was originally situated at 116 Rouse Street, Tenterfield. With its two front rooms made of local pitsaw hardwood, sassafras slab and battens with board roof, it reflects a typical worksman's life style of the 1860s.

BAMM: Bank Art Museum Moree

BAMM
Bank Art Museum Moree

BAMM is a regional art museum with a difference. Situated in a town of less than 10,000 people, our exhibition program offers visitors the chance to engage with the best contemporary Australian art without travelling to larger metropolitan centres. Our publicly owned collection is one of Moree’s most important cultural assets and a wonderful attraction for the hundreds of thousands of tourists
that visit our town every year.

BAMM is a regional art museum offering opportunities for audiences to experience diverse contemporary arts practices. Established in 1988 with a Bicentennial grant from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, BAMM grew from a groundswell of support for a cultural landmark to bring Moree’s community together in the spirit of reconciliation. Today we hold the one of the most significant collections of Aboriginal paintings in regional NSW and offer an invitational Kamilaroi Artist Residency. The collection features works by internationally recognised Australian artists as well as those working in North West NSW. BAMM’s annual program features a changing schedule of exhibitions, including national touring shows and semi-permanent collection displays.

We continue to be supported by an active cultural community known as Friends of BAMM. Membership benefits include invitations to exhibition openings, free entry to our monthly Art After Dark events, as well as 25% off art classes and venue hire. Our education activities include exhibition and back of house tours, artist and curator talks, and art classes for all ages.
