Alyssa Barwick is an accomplished graphic designer, web designer and photographer who started her career with newspapers in 1999. Alyssa helped turn a popular monthly newspaper into a glossy weekly magazine. Her more than 20 years in graphic design has seen her produce everything from ads to logos and magazines to coffee table books. Alyssa has also turned her talents to web design and has become much in demand for bespoke websites answering the particular needs of her clients. Teamed with her talent for photography, Alyssa can offer the full package in design. Her creative designs are striking, eye-catching and memorable.

Event and art photography

Alyssa Barwick and Marie Low are the photographer behind Two Cats Creative. The two have held their own very successful exhibition, Sirens of Gunnedah, which featured conceptual portraits of 52 Gunnedah women. It showed in both Gunnedah and Sydney. They are also accomplished events photographers and have captured everything from Colour Runs to Anzac Day parades, dance and stage shows, agricultural shows and fairs and markets. They are in demand throughout the region for their clear, crisp and creative images that document a large range of events.

Marie Low is a journalist and communicator with 30 years experience. As well as a career as a newspaper and features writer, Marie has been a communication advisor to state government ministers, and both state and local government departments. She has written client-specific magazine articles on everything from travel to personal profiles, and the mining industry to koala conservation. She writes a fortnightly national column for Australian Community Media newspapers and has won a number of awards for both writing and photography at a national level.

I have been taking photographs professionally since 1986. I am very familiar with both digital and analogue photography, in camera, on the computer and in the darkroom. I photograph a wide range of subjects including: People – portraits, documentary, news/media imagery. Events – performance, music, festivals, seminars, workshops. Landscapes – nature/wilderness, urban, rural. Artworks – paintings/prints, sculptures, fabrics, ceramics. Macro – insects, jewellery, any small objects. I can photograph anything really. The light sources I use and are proficient with include – Ambient/natural, Flash/soft box, LEDs, Fluorescent and Incandescent bulb, Candles. I am able to offer workshops/fieldtrips on many aspects of photography.
